From what I understand, bagpipes were found all around the world.
Some of these were mouth blown while others used a bellows. Although the bagpipes were found in history around the world, it was the Scotts that made the
bagpipes popular.
Scotland pipers performed for weddings, feasts and fairs. Pipers played songs and dance music.
A good piper could live very well from his music, and the clan would expect
nothing else from a good piper. The Bagpipe Tartan was usually done in the clan family colors
to show pride in the clan. It is said that in battle the pipes could be heard 10
miles away.
